Xdrop is a high-speed, cross-platform file-sharing application designed to provide an “AirDrop-like” experience across Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS. It functions entirely offline over a local network, allowing you to bypass cloud storage, internet data usage, and physical cables. Key Features of Xdrop
True Cross-Platform Support: Wirelessly links Android phones, iPhones, iPads, Windows PCs, and Macs.
Ultra-Fast Offline Speeds: Uses your local Wi-Fi network or personal hotspot to transfer a 1 GB file in under 30 seconds (up to 20x faster than standard Bluetooth).
No File Size Limits: Allows you to bulk-transfer massive video files, photo libraries, documents, and even application files.
Shared Clipboard: Copies text or web links on your mobile device and instantly pastes them onto your desktop computer via Xdrop Premium.
Secure Local Transfers: Files move directly between your devices without ever being uploaded to a third-party cloud server. Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Share Across All Devices Step 1: Initial Setup
Download and install the application from the Apple App Store or the Android/Windows versions via the official Xdrop platform. Launch the app on both the sending and receiving devices.
Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, or turn on your mobile hotspot and connect your PC/other phone to it.
Log into the application (you can use your Google or Apple ID) to identify your devices on the local network. Step 2: Sending Files from Mobile to PC Open Xdrop on your phone and tap Send.
Use the built-in media picker to select your files, photos, or videos. Tap the Send to PC option.
The app will automatically scan the local network and display your PC’s icon. Tap on your PC to initiate the transfer.
On your computer screen, an incoming prompt will appear. Click Accept or Save to download the files instantly. Step 3: Sending Files from PC to Mobile
