Net Control 2 is the modern incarnation of Remote Vaccine, a legacy classroom management and remote control software originally developed by VAP Software (now Net Control 2 Software). The transition from the old “Remote Vaccine” brand to the newer Net Control 2 ecosystem represents a complete foundational rewrite of the system.
The primary changes introduced in the modern versions of the software include: π Core Performance & Engine Rewrites
New Remote Desktop Engines: The old framework was replaced by completely new engines that process remote control sessions several times faster than legacy iterations.
Optimized Broadcast Desktop: The screen-sharing protocol is highly modernized, utilizing UDP and Multicast to broadcast a teacher’s screen to over 50+ devices simultaneously with minimal latency and better tolerance for network packet loss.
System Audio Capture: Newer versions can actively capture and transmit real-time system audio from all active applications, which wasn’t supported by the older software. π» User Account & Security Changes
