ShoreTel Account Viewer (often utilized through the integrated ShoreTel Communicator or ShoreTel Connect Client) is a central workspace module that allows end-users, operators, and managers to view call logs, manage extensions, and track real-time communication statistics. How to Access the Viewer
Launch the Client: Double-click the ShoreTel Connect or Communicator icon on your desktop.
Log In: Enter your business username/email and password. Enter the server name or IP address if prompted by your administrator.
Open the Viewer: Navigate to the View menu on the main toolbar and select the Windows Menu to open or separate specific viewers (like the Call or Contact Viewer). Key Features & How to Use Them
Contact Viewer Tab: Tracks the active phone status and PC presence of your saved coworkers. Drag and drop this tab out of the main window to run it as a standalone screen for easy monitoring.
Voicemail Viewer Panel: Displays unified visual voicemail broken down into Inbox, Saved, and Deleted tabs. Click any message to listen directly via your headset or phone.
Recents/Call History Logs: Pulls up a filtered history of up to 1,000 inbound, outbound, and missed calls. Missed entries feature a red checkmark, and right-clicking an entry lets you immediately save it to your local contacts.
Presence Management: Click your user profile name to swiftly change your active Call Handling Mode (e.g., Available, In a Meeting, or Do Not Disturb). This updates your status live across everyone else’s viewer panels. Customization Tips
Enable Window Dragging: Go to Options > General and check Enable drag-and-drop window arrangement to snap your viewers to different areas of your computer monitor.
